It was registered as a Society under the Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

Chaithanya Educational and Rural Development Society is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life in rural communities through education, empowerment, and sustainable development. The society works to provide access to basic education, promote literacy among children and adults, and create livelihood opportunities for underserved families.
