At present, we are carrying out Health & Educational awareness activities, implements social welfare development programs at grass root level for Youth, women & children at MIDC industial area, Akkalkot Road, Solapur.
About Us
I take this opportunity to introduce our organisation NGO Namely SSE&RC - SOLAPUR SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL & RESEARCH CENTRE, SOLAPUR is a registered Society. At present we are working on health & Educational awareness activities in Industrial sector, our thrust is on community awareness programmes. in this programme we are contacting Powerloom, Handloom workers as well as bidi workers at Bidi Gharkul, MIDC Industrial area & Gandhi nagar, Akkalkot Road, for last 20 years. We are interested to associate in projects implementation. women and child development programmes also conducted by SSE& RC, Solapur. Educational awareness in community based programmes are main target. Youth and masses awareness programmes done. Medical Health Check up Camp, Health awareness programmes etc. at present done worked.

Conclusion for our NGO - SSE&RC - Solapur report on the health of newborn babies of Vidi Workers: Our study reveals a concerning trend among newborn babies of Vidi workers, with a significant proportion having a height less than regular babies. This disparity highlights the need for urgent attention to the health and well-being of these vulnerable children.
