Established with a vision to uplift marginalized communities, OISD works to promote social justice, empowerment, and equal opportunities for all. Our Mission To create a just and equitable society by empowering underprivileged communities through education, livelihood support, healthcare, women empowerment, and sustainable development initiatives. Key Areas of Work Education & Skill Development – Promoting literacy, vocational training, and capacity-building programs for youth and women. Women Empowerment – Supporting gender equality, self-help groups (SHGs), and income-generating opportunities. Health & Nutrition – Organizing health camps, awareness drives, and nutrition support for children and women. Livelihood & Rural Development – Encouraging sustainable livelihoods, agriculture-based projects, and rural entrepreneurship. Environment & Sustainability – Promoting eco-friendly practices, afforestation, and climate change awareness. Our Approach OISD believes in community-driven development, working closely with local stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations to design and implement impactful programs. About Us
OISD is a non-governmental organization established in 1996 with the vision of creating sustainable social impact. Since its inception, the organization has been actively working across multiple sectors including education, healthcare, women empowerment, skill development, agriculture, animal husbandry, and livestock management. With over two decades of service, OISD has continuously strived to uplift communities, promote self-reliance, and improve the quality of life of underprivileged sections of society. Through its diverse programs and initiatives, the organization remains committed to holistic development and social transformation.
