Milestones
Inchara Foundation has grown since its beginning in 2006 into a major force for child‑protection and rehabilitation in Karnataka and beyond. It pioneered a licensed residential home for girl survivors of abuse in Mangalore (started in 2017), offering safe shelter, education, counselling, and skill‑development — a first-of-its-kind initiative in the district. Through its outreach and awareness programs, the foundation has reached over 110 schools, provided mental‑health support, cyber‑safety training, and served tens of thousands of children and adults. During the COVID‑19 crisis, Inchara extended its support to vulnerable migrant families and communities, distributing thousands of meals, ration and hygiene kits, helping many survive difficult times
