CASP supports families in accessing government welfare programs and schemes, fostering self-sufficiency to ensure children's overall development. About Us

1975-2016! These 41 years have been witness to the birth and growth of Community Aid & Sponsorship Programme (CASP) from its initial fledgling structure to its grand metamorphosis into a well-organized NGO of international repute. Community Aid & Sponsorship Programme (CASP) works toward the sustainable development and strengthening of child,family and community. Through sponsorship it helps and guides children, their family and community towards development,empowerment and self-reliance. All programs initiated by CASP are developed on the principles of participation and sustainability. The organization has adopted a holistic, participatory approach towards children's well-being. CASP encourages children to complete their elementary/secondary education. Through its developmental programs, CASP empowers women to take informed decision at various stages of life. A dedicated team at CASP also works for the ageing population and strives to ensure a healthy and participatory ageing process. Some of the well received programs conducted by CASP for children and their family include; Early child care and development, Reproductive and Child health, HIV/AIDS awareness, Child Rights, Income Generation Programs and Development programs focussing on Habitat and Sanitation. CASP conducts vocational training of young women with an objective to make them financially independent. In the past four decades. CASP sponsored 15,000 children across India to complete their education. CASP has been successful in maintaining long term relationships with local as well as international government/funding agencies to implement projects at multiple locations in India. These partners along with CASP have a joint vision of making society self-reliant. CASP with its large team of volunteers and employee base is positionned to make a bigger impact in community development.

Milestones

Sponsoring 15,000+ children across India to complete their education. Operating multiple community development projects across 6 states. Running programs on early childhood development, reproductive and child health, HIV/AIDS awareness, and income generation. Supporting caregivers and women through capacity-building and vocational training programs. Successfully maintaining long-term partnerships with national and international donors and government agencies.
