Atma Foundation
ATMA Foundation may be a voluntary organization based in Thrissur, Kerala, working for individual empowerment, family welfare, and community development. ATMA has 11 projects, six significant campaigns and regular programmes in child protection, education, empowerment, family welfare, art & culture, digital & financial empowerment and disaster relief & rehabilitation. Over the years, we’ve organized over 1648 programmes, directly impacting over 287,000 families (2006 – 20), and for their incredible work for our society’s improvement, ATMA is now the best NGO in Kerala.
About Us
ATMA Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting holistic human development through education, mental wellness, family strengthening, and community empowerment initiatives. Based in Kerala, the foundation focuses on nurturing responsible individuals by offering counselling services, value-based training, youth leadership programs, and life-skill development workshops. Over the years, ATMA Foundation has worked with schools, families, and communities to create emotionally healthy, socially responsible citizens, while continuously expanding its outreach to support marginalized and vulnerable groups.

ATMA Gurukulam Girls' Home: Provides care and support to girls ATMA Railway Child Help Desk: Rescued 1,116 children Free counseling: Provided counseling support to 3,000 families Digital and financial empowerment training: Provided training to 3,500 people Educational and nutritional kits: Distributed kits to 1,000 underprivileged children Summer camps: Held summer camps in 10 Panchayaths, with over 500 children participating ATMA Uyare: An online learning support program for underprivileged children ATMA Vayobandhu: A helpline for the elderly
