Success Story

A Mission for Social Service

Since then, the organization has mainly made environmental protection its main mission. People and livestock were left without water, animals and birds started dying without water, agriculture suffered a great blow, people started migrating, and drinking water became a major concern in rural areas. Crops dried up, and people faced a situation where they were also facing drinking water shortages.

Environmental Crisis and the Call for Action- Rain Trust

At that time, Rain Trust organization, after seeing the ill effects of the lack of monsoon, was ready to grow trees, nurture them and create awareness about the environment. Today, everyone is suffering from one or the other disease, most people are working hard to improve their health, it is a painful thing that young children are getting diseases like heart attack, cancer, diabetes, young people are suddenly falling and dying, observing such factors, the Rain Trust organization, mainly due to the use of plastic in hotels, tea shops, for food processing, for packing food packets, drinking excessive amounts of bottled water, consumption of high cholesterol foods, consumption of junk food, lack of exercise for the body and many other reasons.

Rain Trust – Several Initiatives

The Rain Trust organization gave a call for the Plastic Free Karnataka Movement on 12-01-2024. Under this program, the ill effects of plastic are being made known to schools and colleges, women, children, farmers and self-service organizations, and the society and neighbours who are directly facing its effects are being given a living example. Then, meditation programs, Mother’s Day-like programs, and awareness campaigns are being carried out by going door to door to create awareness among the public to use cloth bags as an alternative to plastic under the “Use Cloth Bags – Quit Plastic” campaign.

Empowering Rural Children Through Education and Technology

Most of the schools in rural areas do not have proper internet facilities, proper auditoriums, computers, proper toilets, and basic amenities. We believe that it is very important to instil a scientific attitude and technology in the children of rural areas. Rain Trust is working hard to realise these dreams through many projects and initiatives, such as the sustainability of women in rural areas, good education for children, and the empowerment of women. Since 2019, RAIN TRUST has worked in all fields to promote a good society.

We are working with children, protecting their rights, women and their rights, women empowerment, sapling plantation, awareness programs and many more. Planning is a fundamental property for any project, a grassroots plan to set up in various contexts. We will necessarily choose some fields to work on, the work and its basic structure vary at the time of implementation.

An important thing is that planning is the legal context which permits to build up development. Planning takes everything: Every sector has been considered. We will consider most of the fields, sectors, Mahila mandalis, anganavadi’s, SHG groups, Youth groups, farmers groups, bhajana mandalis, with other indigenous associations of the Community.

Implementing plan occupies pioneer points, the basic points of Human Rights and protection of Human rights, woman rights, child rights, education, health, environmental awareness programs such as, individual development training, conducting of workshop, evening school for children, technology awareness, woman empowerment, re-admission of the school who dropout children, girls children education, creating awareness for communities, conducting awareness programs at school-colleges, at community level, the issue of the program is Health and sanitation, food, climate change, nutrition as well diseases.
