April – June 2026 | Building a Compassionate, Sustainable and Digitally Empowered India Through Collective Action
Introduction: A Quarter of Compassion, Awareness and Action
The progress of a nation is reflected not only through its infrastructure, economy, and technology, but also through the way it treats animals, protects the environment, preserves heritage, empowers communities, and inspires its youth.
This belief has guided every initiative of Dashrath Putra Foundation (DPF).
As we complete the first quarter of FY 2026–27, we look back with immense gratitude, not only for the milestones achieved but also for the thousands of moments where compassion transformed into meaningful action.
Over the past three months, our volunteers, supporters, professionals, advocates, doctors, students, corporate partners, and citizens came together to create something much larger than a series of events. They built a movement driven by service, awareness, responsibility, and collective participation.
A movement where an injured street animal received life-saving treatment because someone cared enough to report it.
A movement where animals received access to clean drinking water during the scorching summer.
A movement where young students learned how to identify AI-generated scams before becoming victims.
A movement where communities became cleaner, safer, greener and more aware of their rights and responsibilities.
This is the journey of Dashrath Putra Foundation, a collective effort of thousands of compassionate Indians proving that Sewa Param Dharma is not just a slogan but a way of contributing towards a better society.

Strengthening Emergency Response Through Community Participation
One of the major achievements of this quarter was strengthening the nationwide emergency response network of Dashrath Putra Foundation.
Through the centralised WhatsApp reporting system, citizens across India reached out for support in cases involving:
- Injured street animals
- Gau Mata in distress
- Wildlife emergencies
- Environmental hazards
- Human emergencies
- Heritage protection concerns
During the quarter:
- More than 1,100 emergency reports were received
- Over 1,000 cases were successfully resolved
- The response rate remained above 90%
Behind every successful intervention was a simple yet powerful chain of action:
A citizen noticed.
Someone reported.
A volunteer responded.
A life received help.
Technology alone cannot save lives, but technology combined with compassionate people can create meaningful change.
Animal Welfare Initiatives: Extending Care and Support
Animal welfare remained one of the key focus areas during Q1 FY 2026–27.

These efforts reflect the belief that responsible communities are built when every living being receives care and compassion.
