My Pad and My Pride

In our society, there are still many myths and misconceptions surrounding menstruation. These range from the belief that menstruating women are “unclean” or impure to the idea that menstrual cycles signify weakness or lack of control. Menstruation is a natural process that should be celebrated and respected rather than shamed or feared. Saday was excited to be part of this domain that seeks to advance menstrual education and societal awareness. They will strive to provide helpful, informative, and creative resources to help individuals better understand the menstrual cycle and its effects on individuals.

Saday spent 36,000+ seconds working and conducted more than 50 workshops this year on menstrual hygiene. Saday Sadev is thrilled to share information about menstrual health, myths/taboos, and hygiene through their workshops and the distribution of reusable cloth pad kits. This economical and eco-friendly alternative encourages the 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. They have professional guidance from Gynecologists’, Nutritionists, and Women’s Health Advocates to ensure their attendees can access accurate and helpful information.
