NGOFeed VerifiedPYDS provides fee-free, holistic CBSE education (Class I–XII) and comprehensive care (nutrition, healthcare and life skills) to underprivileged children, predominantly girls from remote areas of Uttarakhand.
About Us
A village-based society on the outskirts of Dehradun, PYDS runs a CBSE-affiliated school (PYDS Learning Academy) offering academics plus co-curricular exposure, healthcare and nutrition to prepare students for higher education and employability.

Education and Skill Development for Youth
Provides holistic education, vocational training, life skills, and mentoring to underprivileged youth to enhance employability, leadership, personal development, and socio-economic participation in rural and semi-urban communities.
Health, Hygiene, and Wellbeing Awareness
Promotes awareness on health, hygiene, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and preventive healthcare through workshops, community campaigns, and youth-led outreach to improve overall health outcomes in rural populations
Livelihood Enhancement and Community Development
Supports livelihood promotion, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and skill-based employment opportunities for disadvantaged youth to strengthen economic resilience, reduce unemployment, and foster sustainable community development.

- 1983: Founded by Smt. Dr. Vibha Purkal to empower underprivileged youth through education and skill development in rural Uttarakhand.
