Purkal Youth Development Society

1983: Founded by Smt. Dr. Vibha Purkal to empower underprivileged youth through education and skill development in rural Uttarakhand. 1990s: Established formal education programs for children of marginalized communities. 2000: Launched vocational training and life skills programs for youth to enhance employability. 2005: Expanded outreach to multiple districts in Uttarakhand including Dehradun, Haridwar, and Pauri Garhwal. 2010: Introduced community development initiatives, focusing on health, hygiene, and livelihood support. 2015: Integrated digital learning and technology in youth education and skill development programs. 2020: Achieved direct impact on thousands of youth through education, employment, and empowerment programs.

Recognized by Government of Uttarakhand for contributions to rural youth education and empowerment. Awarded Best NGO in Skill Development by regional social development platforms.
