Education and Child Development
Provides academic support, life skills education, mentoring, and remedial learning for underprivileged children to improve school attendance, retention, holistic development, and empowerment in marginalized communities across urban and rural areas.
Women Empowerment and Livelihood Support
Empowers women through vocational training, self help groups, entrepreneurship guidance, and financial literacy to strengthen economic independence, confidence, leadership, and active participation in family and community development.
Health, Hygiene, and Nutrition Awareness
Promotes awareness on preventive healthcare, hygiene, nutrition, maternal-child care, and healthy practices through community outreach, health camps, and workshops to improve wellbeing of vulnerable populations.

- Kamla Bhasin Awards
- The Azad Foundation launched these awards in 2021 in partnership with the National Foundation for India and iPartner India to celebrate and empower women's leadership in India.
- Champion of Youth Award
- The Azad Foundation received the 2024 Champion of Youth Award from EMpower.
- Jija Bai Award
- In 2014-15, Meenu Vadera, the founder of the Azad Foundation, received the Jija Bai Award from Shivaji College, Delhi University.
- International Inspiration at the IBM iX Everywoman in Travel Awards
- In 2018-19, Meenu Vadera received this award in London.
