Smiley Children Society Public Health Awareness Seminar: An extensive public awareness seminar focusing on disease prevention, early diagnosis and organ donation was successfully conducted in Mandapeta under the direction and guidance of Mr. Prudhvi Moses, President of Smiley Children Society. The program aimed to strengthen awareness among healthcare providers and community members regarding preventive healthcare practices, particularly benefiting rural and underprivileged populations.
The awareness seminar was organized on Wednesday at the premises of Varada Scanning Center in Mandapeta. The event was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Kona Satyanarayana, State Leader of the Community Paramedics Health Care Providers Welfare Association.

Members from Mandapeta, Mandapeta Rural, Kapileswarapuram, Rayavaram and Alamuru mandals actively participated in the program, demonstrating strong regional engagement in public health education initiatives. Around 150 members attended the seminar, reflecting growing community interest in preventive healthcare and awareness-based interventions.
Expert Insights on Disease Awareness and Early Diagnosis
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Shashidhar, Radiologist and Head of Varada Scanning Center, emphasized that awareness about diseases is essential to ensure timely treatment and improved health outcomes. He noted that many health complications arise due to negligence and lack of early screening.
He urged participants to educate people in villages about regular health check-ups, diagnostic scanning, and preventive measures. According to him, proper awareness can significantly reduce medical expenses for economically weaker families by preventing serious complications at early stages.
Emphasis on Organ Donation Awareness
State Vice President Mr. Gangumalla Rambabu spoke about the importance of organ donation and explained how a single donor can save multiple lives. He encouraged healthcare workers to actively spread awareness in rural communities and help remove misconceptions associated with organ donation.
He stressed that social responsibility begins with education and compassion, highlighting the role of trained healthcare providers in building informed communities.

During the event, doctors and healthcare professionals were felicitated by the association in recognition of their dedicated service to society. Their efforts in providing medical services to economically weaker sections were widely appreciated by attendees and organizers.

The branch management appreciated the organizers for conducting a meaningful awareness initiative and announced that a free medical camp will soon be conducted in the area, with the official date to be announced shortly.
