Rahat Samarpan Journey in Women Hygiene Advocacy: In the heart of rural Madhya Pradesh lies a village named Salaiya Paherai, where hundreds of young girls grow up without ever learning how to manage something as natural as their own menstrual cycle. For them, menstruation is not just a biological process — it’s a monthly struggle of silence, shame, and discomfort.

A Beginning with Dignity – Launching a Movement for Rural Women’s Hygiene”

Rahat Samarpan Journey in Women Hygiene Advocacy

At Rahat Samarpan Seva Samiti, we asked ourselves a simple question: “How can a girl dream freely when she’s taught that her own body is something to hide?” This question gave birth to our latest initiative — a grassroots campaign focused on menstrual hygiene, awareness, and dignity for rural women and girls.

Rahat Samarpan Journey

We plan to begin our journey from Salaiya Paherai, and step by step, extend it to every village of the Vijayraghavgarh block. This is not just a plan on paper. We have already prepared:

  • Awareness material in Hindi tailored for rural women
  • Partnerships with local health volunteers
  • A roadmap for organizing hygiene camps in collaboration with Gram Panchayats
  • A structured distribution mechanism for free sanitary pads But we are at a crucial stage now — the stage before our first camp.

Rahat Samarpan Work

We are ready, committed, and organized, but we need the initial financial support to make this vision a reality. Without funds, the awareness material cannot be printed, pads cannot be procured in bulk, and the camp cannot be conducted. That is why this fundraiser exists.

We want you — compassionate individuals, responsible citizens — to become part of this change from Day One. You won’t just be donating money — you’ll be helping us plant the seed of dignity in places where women have been unheard for generations. Imagine a 13-year-old girl who misses school every month because she doesn’t have a sanitary pad. Imagine a mother who never taught her daughter about periods because no one ever spoke to her either.

Your Contribution

Now imagine them sitting together in our first camp, learning, sharing, and walking out with free sanitary pads, knowledge, and confidence. This is what you’ll make possible. ⸻ Your Support Can Help Us Begin:

  • ₹50: One girl’s monthly hygiene kit
  • ₹500: Support 10 girls with basic supplies
  • ₹2000: Fund one village awareness session
  • ₹5000+: Help us reach remote clusters with reusable pads and education

Who We Are: Rahat Samarpan Seva Samiti is a registered non-profit (12A/80G certified) working toward rural health, education, and women’s empowerment.

Digital Solution

We have conducted successful free eye checkup camps and health programs in the past, and now, with your support, we are ready to launch this hygiene dignity movement for our rural sisters.
