Dashrath Putra Foundation Pan-India Movement of Sewa and Social Impact: Dashrath Putra Foundation (DPF), a flagship initiative of Radhey Sewa – The Street Defenders, is not just an organization, it is a living, breathing movement driven by compassion, dedication and a deep-rooted commitment to Bharat. Our work transcends boundaries of geography, language and background, uniting people under one powerful purpose: Sewa (selfless service).
From the divine ghats of Maa Ganga in Varanasi to the tranquil and spiritually uplifting peaks of the Himalayas, DPF is actively working on the ground, bringing real change where it is needed the most. We believe that true devotion is not limited to rituals; it is reflected through action, responsibility, and care for all living beings.

A National Mission Connecting Sacred Sites with Service
The foundation is currently undertaking a large-scale national mission that aims to connect with all 51 Shaktipeeths and 12 Jyotirlingas across India. This initiative is designed not just as a spiritual journey but as a structured effort to integrate service activities at major religious destinations.
At each location, the focus is on creating sustainable impact by supporting pilgrims, local communities, animals and the surrounding environment. The initiative seeks to reshape the concept of pilgrimage by linking it with responsibility, awareness and long-term development.
Previous Missions Across Regions
Over time, DPF has carried out several missions across different parts of the country, focusing on rescue, relief, and preservation.
These include work at prominent spiritual and cultural locations such as Varanasi, Ujjain, Ayodhya, Vrindavan, Pushkar and Deoghar. In Rajasthan, efforts have been concentrated around Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji.
The organization has also been active in urban centers like Lucknow, Surat, and Meerut, as well as in Himalayan and eastern regions including Siliguri and Gangtok.
Each mission reflects an effort to combine spiritual engagement with tangible outcomes such as welfare support, environmental care and community assistance.
The Four Pillars of the Foundation’s Work
All activities of Dashrath Putra Foundation are structured around four key areas:
- Animal Welfare (Animal Sewa): The foundation conducts rescue operations, provides medical assistance, and works toward long-term care solutions for stray and abandoned animals, including dignified shelter options.
- Cultural and Religious Preservation (Sanatan Sewa): Efforts include maintenance of temples, protection of heritage sites, and support for spiritual caretakers and local traditions.
- Human Development (Human Sewa): The organization runs initiatives focused on AI literacy, digital education, and vocational training to help individuals become self-reliant and better prepared for modern challenges.
- Environmental Sustainability (Nature Sewa): Campaigns such as promoting plastic-free zones in religious areas aim to protect ecological balance while maintaining the sanctity of these spaces.
Collaborations and Operational Support
To strengthen implementation and ensure operational efficiency, the foundation works with several partner organizations.
Hare Ka Sahara Trust supports activities in Rajasthan, particularly in Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji. Bajaj General Insurance contributes to animal welfare initiatives. Skill Mummy Academy plays a role in delivering digital education and skill development programs.
For financial transactions, platforms such as Razorpay, PayU, and Cashfree are used to ensure transparency and streamlined donation processes.
Opportunities for Public Participation
The foundation continues to organize missions and events that allow individuals from diverse backgrounds including students, volunteers and travelers to participate in service-oriented activities. These engagements are designed to promote community involvement and collective responsibility.
Engagement and Outreach
Individuals interested in contributing can support initiatives related to medical aid, food distribution, rescue operations, and education programs. The organization also encourages suggestions for new projects and collaborations.
