Dashrath Putra Foundation Conducts Major Community Service and Temple Cleanliness Drive: In a dedicated effort to promote community service, environmental responsibility and animal welfare, Dashrath Putra Foundation (DPF) successfully conducted a large-scale cleanliness and welfare initiative at Jwala Mata Temple (Shaktipeeth), Jobner, Rajasthan, along with service activities at a historic Mahadev Temple in the same region that is more than 200 years old.
The initiative was carried out as part of DPF’s ongoing mission to preserve public heritage spaces, support animal welfare, and encourage responsible community participation across India. The program focused not only on maintaining cleanliness but also on creating awareness about humane practices around shared public and cultural spaces.

Temple Cleanliness and Heritage Preservation Initiative
The DPF team carried out extensive cleaning and restoration activities at the Jwala Mata Temple, a prominent cultural and community gathering site that attracts visitors from nearby regions.
The service activities included:
- Complete cleaning of temple premises
- Removal of waste and accumulated debris
- Sanitization of public areas
- Restoration of cleanliness around water points
- Public awareness among visitors regarding maintenance of hygiene
Simultaneously, cleaning operations were also conducted at the Mahadev Temple, a sacred site with over two centuries of history. The objective was to ensure that the premises remained safe, clean and respectful for visitors as well as the surrounding ecosystem.
Temple cleaning work is still in progress and DPF has committed to periodic follow-up visits to ensure long-term and sustainable impact.
Emergency Animal Welfare Intervention: Monkey Health Crisis
During the visit, the team encountered a serious animal welfare concern in the area. Local reports indicated that approximately 400–500 monkeys had died due to improper and irresponsible feeding practices by visitors.
Feeding unsuitable food items resulted in infections and severe health complications among the animals. The incident highlighted a critical gap in public awareness — while feeding animals is often done with compassion, lack of knowledge can unintentionally cause harm.
DPF immediately initiated intervention measures to:
- Assess the health condition of surviving monkeys
- Coordinate treatment support
- Improve hygiene conditions around public water sources
- Ensure access to clean drinking water
Special attention was given to the public water tank area where monkeys frequently gather. Cleaning and sanitation measures were implemented to prevent further infections and stabilize the situation.
As of now, the situation has been brought under control and conditions are reported to be stable.
Public Awareness Appeal: Responsible Feeding Practices
Dashrath Putra Foundation strongly urges visitors and local communities to adopt responsible and informed practices while interacting with animals.
Key awareness points shared during the drive included:
- Not all animals can digest human food
- Processed, oily, salty or packaged foods can be fatal
- Every species has different biological needs
- Feeding without knowledge can lead to infection, disease, and mass casualties
Compassion must be guided by awareness. Before feeding any animal, individuals are encouraged to understand:
- What is safe
- What is harmful
- What quantity is appropriate
Good intentions must always be supported by correct knowledge and responsible action.
A Broader Nationwide Mission
This initiative forms part of DPF’s larger outreach program aimed at supporting heritage spaces and promoting welfare activities across India. The organization continues to work toward:
- Service activities at major cultural and heritage locations
- Environmental protection around public spaces
- Animal welfare support near high-footfall areas
- Awareness initiatives encouraging responsible public behavior
The foundation believes that community service becomes meaningful when care extends to people, animals and the environment together.
Service Beyond Rituals: A Holistic Approach
Dashrath Putra Foundation continues to focus on practical, on-ground initiatives including:
- Animal rescue and treatment support
- Cleanliness and hygiene drives
