Shoshit Seva Sangh
Shoshit Seva Sangh (SSS) operates the Shoshit Samadhan Kendra, a residential school in Patna. It provides education, boarding, lodging, clothing, and healthcare to over 500 children from the underserved musahar community. The school is affiliated with CBSE and is located on a two-acre campus. The Board of SSS consists of eleven Trustees, nine of whom are independent. They bring diverse expertise from various sectors, including leadership in non-profit organisations, corporate sustainability, banking and finance, marketing, media, entrepreneurship, law enforcement, healthcare, and legal fields.
About Us
The purpose of the SSS Foundation is to make the economic and social empowerment of the Musahar community of Bihar a reality by giving free education to their kids. It is a charitable English-medium residential school made for children from the Musahar community. Musahar’s population is expected to be 4 to 5 million, and all are landless labourers (many being bonded labourers). The Musahar community in Bihar is among the most exploited and deprived sections of the poverty-stricken population. Shoshit Seva Sangh has achieved significant impact by providing free, high-quality education, accommodation, food, and healthcare to children from the Musahar community—one of India’s most marginalized groups. Over the years, the organization established Shoshit Samadhan Kendra, a fully residential school transforming hundreds of young lives. Through sustained community outreach, academic excellence, and holistic development programs, SSS has created a powerful model of empowerment and social upliftment for vulnerable communities in Bihar.

Padma Shri In 2019, Sinha was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honor, for his work in affordable education. India Positive Award In 2012, CNN-IBN awarded Sinha the India Positive Award for his work in education for the underprivileged. Distinguished Xavierian Award In 2012, Sinha was awarded the Distinguished Xavierian Award. Visit by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam In 2011, former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam visited the Shoshit Seva Sangh school. Feature on Times Now In 2015, Times Now featured Sinha and Shoshit Seva Sangh in their serial Amazing Indians.
