It provides education, boarding, lodging, clothing, and healthcare to over 500 children from the underserved musahar community. The school is affiliated with CBSE and is located on a two-acre campus. The Board of SSS consists of eleven Trustees, nine of whom are independent. They bring diverse expertise from various sectors, including leadership in non-profit organisations, corporate sustainability, banking and finance, marketing, media, entrepreneurship, law enforcement, healthcare, and legal fields.
About Us
The purpose of the SSS Foundation is to make the economic and social empowerment of the Musahar community of Bihar a reality by giving free education to their kids. It is a charitable English-medium residential school made for children from the Musahar community. Musahar’s population is expected to be 4 to 5 million, and all are landless labourers (many being bonded labourers). The Musahar community in Bihar is among the most exploited and deprived sections of the poverty-stricken population. Education and Child Development
Provides quality education, mentoring, life skills, and remedial support to underprivileged children, improving school attendance, learning outcomes, retention, and holistic development in rural and marginalized communities.
Women Empowerment and Livelihood Support
Empowers women through vocational training, entrepreneurship guidance, self help groups, and financial literacy to strengthen economic independence, leadership, confidence, and active participation in family and community decision-making.
Health, Nutrition, and Hygiene Awareness
Promotes health, hygiene, nutrition, maternal-child care, and preventive healthcare through awareness programs, workshops, and community outreach to improve overall wellbeing in underserved rural and semi-urban populations.
