About Us
Narayan Seva Sansthan was founded by Padma Shri awardee Shri Kailash ‘Manav’ in 1985. He is a renowned social entrepreneur and humanitarian, dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. With a profound commitment to social justice and equality, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at providing medical, prosthetic, and livelihood support to those in need. His work in organizing corrective surgeries has helped countless individuals regain their physical capabilities, while his efforts in providing artificial limbs have restored mobility and independence to many. Mr. Kailash Agarwal ‘Manav’ was honoured with the 'Personal Category Award' at a national level for excellent services in the field of ‘Welfare of Persons with Disabilities’ by His Excellency, the President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, on 3rd December 2003. Mr. Kailash Agarwal 'Manav', was awarded the 'National Award' by the then Union Minister for Finance, Mr. Pranav Mukherjee, on 9th Nov 2011, at Balyogi Auditorium, Parliament House, New Delhi. On December 3, 2023, Mr. Prashant Agrawal, the Global President of the Narayan Seva Sansthan, was honored with the prestigious National Award for "the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities" by the esteemed President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu. The National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Attendees included Dr Virendra Kumar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, along with other dignitaries, Ramdas Athawale, Pratima Bhoumik and A. Narayan Swami.
