How to Register on NGOFeed Dashboard
In this step, the user needs to complete their user profile along with basic information about the NGOs. Below are the steps you need to complete to become a verified user on the NGOFeed Dashboard.
Step 1:
Go to the NGOFeed Dashboard and click on “Register”
To create your account, simply enter basic details like your full name, email, and password. Alternatively, you can select “Register with Google” for a quick and easy registration and login process.
Step 2:
After login, your profile status will {New}, which means your profile is Under New Status.
Why It’s Important: This status shows that your profile setup is almost complete. To fully verify your association with an NGO and gain access to all features, including story sharing and listing, please provide the remaining required information. Once verified, you’ll have full access to showcase your NGO’s impact.
Step 3:
Click the “Get Started” button to complete your onboarding process and verify your account.
Complete the 2 Step process by filling in the required fields for both the User and NGO profiles. This helps us verify your association with the NGO and ensures access to all platform features.
1. User Details:
- Profile Image: Please upload a profile picture for your user profile. You may also upload an NGO logo as an optional secondary image by clicking “Upload Image.
- Full Name: Identifies the user managing the NGO profile.
- Email: This is your registered email for official communication and updates. It cannot be changed.
- Phone Number: For quick contact and verification purposes.
- State: Indicate your location within the country.
- NGO Registered Name: Enter your NGO’s registered name. If it appears in the search results, select it and confirm by checking the DARPAN ID. If your NGO’s name does not appear, please enter the full name manually.
- Registration/Trust Deed Number: If you selected an NGO from the list, the registration number will auto-fill. If your NGO is not listed, manually enter the correct registration number.
- Position: Specify your role in the NGO (e.g., Secretary, President).
- State: Indicate your location within the country.
- About You: Provide a brief bio about yourself or your role within the NGO.
*** Important Note: Selecting the wrong NGO will result in your profile not being verified. Ensure you choose the correct NGO name to share your impact effectively.
2. NGO Details:
- NGO Registered Name: This is the officially registered name as per government records. It will automatically populate based on your previous submission and cannot be edited.
- NGO Brand Name: Enter the name by which your NGO is publicly known, if different from the registered name like CRY, Give, UNICEF etc.
- NGO DARPAN ID: This is a unique government ID that verifies your NGO’s registration in India. If you do not have a DARPAN ID, you cannot submit the form, and your profile will not be verified. If you do have an ID, please enter it correctly.
- NGO Type: Select the type of NGO from the following options: Society, Trust, Section 8.
- About Your NGO: Provide a brief description of your NGO, including its mission, vision, and the key initiatives you undertake to make an impact.
- NGO Full Address: Provide the complete postal address for official correspondence.
- NGO City: Enter the city where your NGO is based.
- State: Enter the state where your NGO registered.
- NGO Pin Code: Provide the postal code for a precise location.
- Country: Indicate that your NGO operates in India, as only Indian NGOs can register on this platform.
- NGO Email: Enter the official email address for your NGO.
- NGO Phone: Provide a contact number for your NGO.
- NGO Website: If applicable, enter the website URL to allow visitors to learn more about your work.
Why These Fields Are Important: These details establish credibility and provide accurate information for donors, volunteers, and stakeholders. The Darpan ID is particularly essential for government verification in India.
Step 4:
After Submission: Once you submit the form, your status will change to “Review.” Our team will then check and verify your profile details.
Step 5:
Once your profile is verified, Then you have verified Access, you’ll gain access to share your NGO’s success stories, news, and articles, and list your NGO profile on our portal.
Verification Process:
- The NGOFeed team will review your submitted details.
- If all information is accurate, your profile will be marked as Verified with a green checkmark.
- If any details are missing or incorrect, you’ll receive a notification to update your profile.
Step 6:
- After verification, your profile will be activated, giving you full access to NGOFeed Dashboard features.
- You can now share stories, campaign updates, and achievements on our portal, as well as list your NGO profile on the NGOFeed Portal.

Create a Post on NGOFeed
The Create Post feature allows you to share your NGO’s success stories, news updates, and campaigns with a wider audience. Here’s how to get started:
- Go to the Posts Section: In your NGOFeed Dashboard, navigate to the “Posts” section.
- Click “Create Post”: Select the “Create Post” button to start a new entry.
- Fill in Required Fields: Use the editor to write your story, add essential details, and upload any feature images or galleries to make your post engaging.
- Submit for Review: Once complete, submit your post. It will then be in “Review” status.
- Admin Review and Response: The NGOFeed team will review your post.
- If Approved: Your post will be published, and you’ll receive a link to view and share it with your audience.
- If Rework Needed: The status will change to “Rework,” allowing you to edit and update your content. Once edited, re-submit for review.

Post Statuses:
- In Review: Pending review by the NGOFeed team.

To complete your verified listing, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Basic Details
- NGO Logo – Upload your NGO’s logo for your profile by clicking “Upload NGO Logo.”
- Registered Name – The official, government-recognized name of the NGO, ensuring transparency.
- Brand Name – The commonly known name of the NGO, helping with brand recognition.
- Darpan ID – Unique government-issued ID for Indian NGOs, essential for credibility.
- NGO Type – Specifies the primary focus area, aiding donors in understanding your work.
- NGO Short Summary – A short description that introduces your NGO, its mission, and impact.

- Year of Registration: Indicate the official registration year to verify legitimacy.

Team Overview: Showcase key members and roles within your NGO to add a personal touch and highlight your leadership team. Here’s how to manage your team information:
- Add Team Members Manually:
- You can create individual team profiles by entering member details, including their name and role.
- Each team profile is editable, allowing you to update roles and information as needed.
- Fetch Team Data from DARPAN:
- If you have a verified DARPAN ID, you can automatically import team data.
- Simply click the “OK” button to confirm, and the team members listed in DARPAN will be added to your profile.
