Lack of information, social stigma, and unavailability of proper resources often result in unhygienic practices, causing severe <a href=\"https:\/\/ngofeed.com\/blog\/role-of-ngos-in-healthcare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">health <\/a>problems among <a href=\"https:\/\/ngofeed.com\/blog\/role-of-ngo-in-women-empowerment-in-india\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">women<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"campaign-goals-awareness-hygiene-and-dignity\">Campaign Goals: Awareness, Hygiene, and Dignity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognizing this, Rahat Shakti Abhiyan was initiated with the aim to break the silence, create awareness, and support women with knowledge, dignity, and necessary hygiene products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"from-amahta-to-18-panchayats-and-beyond\">From Amahta to 18 Panchayats and Beyond<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign began from Gram Panchayat Amahta and has now successfully reached more than 18 Gram Panchayats of Vijayraghavgarh block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rahat-shakti-abhiyan-educating-women-and-girls-through-camps\">Rahat Shakti Abhiyan &#8211; Educating Women and Girls Through Camps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each camp under this campaign is carefully designed to <a href=\"https:\/\/ngofeed.com\/blog\/role-of-ngos-in-education-in-india\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">educate <\/a>women and adolescent girls about menstruation, hygiene practices, and their rights over their own health and bodies. Key components of the campaign include awareness sessions, interactive discussions, and free distribution of sanitary pads. More than 1500 women and girls have already benefitted from these camps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"community-driven-movement-local-participation-is-the-key\">Community-Driven Movement: Local Participation Is the Key<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes the campaign unique is the community involvement \u2013 every session witnesses the active participation of ASHA workers, <a href=\"https:\/\/ngofeed.com\/blog\/role-of-ngos-in-anganwadi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anganwadi <\/a>staff, women self-help groups, sarpanches and youth volunteers. This strong local involvement has transformed this campaign from a small initiative into a grassroots movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"slogans-that-inspire-action-and-unity\">Slogans That Inspire Action and Unity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign promotes slogans such as \u201cEvery Sister\u2019s Strength \u2013 Every Village\u2019s Growth\u201d and \u201cStay Clean \u2013 Stay Healthy \u2013 Live with Dignity.\u201d These messages are not just words, but calls to action that resonate deeply with rural women. In many villages, women have expressed that this is the first time someone has openly spoken to them about their health, heard their concerns, and guided them with care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"respectful-and-holistic-approach-to-awareness\">Respectful and Holistic Approach to Awareness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What sets Rahat Shakti Abhiyan apart is its holistic and respectful approach. The sessions include scientific information delivered in a simple, relatable manner. Adolescent girls receive guidance through friendly counseling, while open discussions and group activities are used to eliminate shame and embarrassment around menstruation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"vision-ahead-permanent-womens-awareness-centers\">Vision Ahead: Permanent Women\u2019s Awareness Centers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead, Rahat Samarpan Seva Samiti plans to establish permanent Women\u2019s Awareness Centers in each Panchayat to provide ongoing support and resources.
